Dr. Murphy is a native of Tampa. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine and received his Orthopedic training at Orlando Regional Healthcare System. He joined his father’s practice in 1998, and in 2016, Tampa Orthopedic and Sports Medicine became a part of Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health.
Dr. Murphy is a board certified Orthopedic surgeon and has his sub-specialty certification in Orthopedic sports medicine. He has been a Team Physician for the New York Yankees since 2012, and has also served as a Team Physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since 2015.
