Dr. Lowell Dawson is a fellowship-trained interventional neuroradiologist. His specialized training in radiology enables him to treat various conditions affecting the brain, nerves, and spinal cord through minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Dawson earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he also completed his residencies in diagnostic radiology and vascular and interventional radiology. He further honed his expertise with two fellowships: one in diagnostic neuroradiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire and another in endovascular neurosurgery at North Shore University Hospital in New York.
Affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, the American College of Radiology, and the American Society of Neuroradiology, Dr. Dawson is also engaged in research focusing on topics such as degenerative aortic valve disease, pulmonary embolisms, and medulloblastoma, a brain tumor commonly seen in children. Outside of his medical practice, he enjoys sports, physical fitness, music, and spending quality time with his family.
