Julia Pfaff, DO, MPH, FACS

Dr. Julia Pfaff is a board-certified otolaryngologist and head and neck surgeon, specializing in a comprehensive range of disorders affecting the head and neck. Her areas of expertise include sinus disease, allergies, head and neck cancer, voice disorders, salivary gland disorders, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and surgical interventions for sleep apnea. Having undergone thyroid surgery during her medical training, Dr. Pfaff draws on her personal experience to connect with her patients and provide exceptional care. She is among the few physicians in Florida qualified to perform the Inspire Implant procedure for sleep apnea, in addition to her proficiency in minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.

Dr. Pfaff earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Albright College in Pennsylvania and subsequently received a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She completed her medical training at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida before returning to Philadelphia for her residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Currently serving as the department chair of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Pfaff is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and actively participates in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society, and Hillsborough County Medical Association.
