About F. Curtis Bryan, MD

Dr. F. Curtis Bryan is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. With over 25 years of experience, he specializes in heart valve repair and replacement, percutaneous valve therapies, surgery for electrical heart disorders, coronary artery bypass grafting, and the removal of cardiac masses. Dr. Bryan has held several leadership roles, including medical director and chief of surgery.

He earned his medical degree, cum laude, from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his residencies in general and cardiothoracic surgery at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals, where he served as chief resident in both disciplines. He also completed a research fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Carlyle-Fraser Heart Center and is a graduate of the Harvard Medical School Surgical Leadership Program.

Dr. Bryan has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in thoracic and cardiac surgery since 2018. His professional affiliations include the American College of Surgeons, American College of Cardiology, Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and several other distinguished organizations. Outside his professional commitments, Dr. Bryan completed the Ironman World Championship triathlon in Kona, Hawaii.
