Rebecca Simpson, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant. She collaborates with general cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, and electrophysiologists to provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her expertise is in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and she also serves as the coordinator for the Watchman Program.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, and her master’s in clinical medical science (MCMS) from Barry University in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her training included clinical rotations in internal medicine, geriatrics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, behavioral health, bariatric surgery, emergency medicine, and women’s health.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds licensure as a physician assistant in Florida. Rebecca is also certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support.
Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, Christian Medical and Dental Association, American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, and Academy of Physician Associates in Cardiology.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys teaching color guard, dancing, yoga, reading, and spending time with her family and two cats.
