Rana is a board certified Physician Assistant with extensive experience in Pain Management and Rheumatology. She has expertise and a special interest in autoimmune diseases and inflammatory arthritis as well as management of conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gout, and Ankylosing Spondylitis. She works closely with patients on prevention, diagnosis, and management of osteoporosis and other bone density disorders and includes the use of pharmacologic therapies and lifestyle modifications.
Rana’s care philosophy centers on treating each patient with respect, empathy, and a commitment to his or her well being. She believe in building strong, trusting relationships by actively listening to her patients, understanding their unique needs, and providing personalized, evidence based care. She is committed to empowering patients through education, ensuring they are well informed and actively involved in their treatment decisions.
When not caring for her patients, Rana enjoys time with family, hiking and exercise.
