It’s a fact. Travel is once again on many calendars — and Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health has continued to grow and prepare for the arrival of our annual out-of-state guests. Our home has also become more than a vacation destination as more visitors are choosing to relocate and find a new permanent home here. We welcome friends, old and new, as we look forward to caring for you and your families.

COVID-19 Updates
The pandemic has dominated our lives for the past year. As more of our population receives the vaccine, questions still linger. We’ve prepared a list of things you should know.
4. Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health ranks fourth in Pasco County for the amount of COVID vaccine doses administered.
5. As of April 5, 2021 all Floridians ages 18 and over are eligible to receive the COVID vaccine.
6. 70% of Pasco County residents age 65 and older have been vaccinated.
What we KNOW and are still LEARNING
7. We KNOW that COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing COVID-19 disease, especially severe illness and death
8. We KNOW that prevention steps like masks, social distancing, and hand washing help stop the spread of COVID 19 and that these steps are still important
9. We’re still LEARNING how effective the vaccines are against variants of the virus that causes COVID-19. Early data show the vaccines may work against some variants but could be less effective against others
10. We’re still LEARNING how well COVID-19 vaccines keep people from spreading the disease.

Getting the vaccine to prevent the virus is the best hope for ending the pandemic. If you are fully vaccinated please continue to take safety precautions, such as wearing a mask and avoiding close contact. As we look forward to the renewal of spring I want to personally thank you for your commitment to helping us slow – and ultimately stop – the spread of COVID-19.
