About Barbara Muniz, APRN

Barbara was born and raised in Canton Ohio. She moved to Florida in 1982 and received an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) at Manatee Community College in Bradenton. She then spent several years working as a Registered Nurse in the operating room as well as in Transplant nursing and ICU nursing. Barbara graduated from The University of Phoenix with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2012 before getting a Master’s in Science of Nursing (MSN) with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License (APRN) from South University in 2016.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and doing anything and everything in this beautiful state of Florida!
