About Brian C. Domby, MD
Brian Domby, MD understands the desire to be active and competitive. He is passionate about helping people get back to doing the activities that they enjoy. He played Division I college soccer at the University of North Carolina – Asheville and continues to be competitive as a Category 1 road cyclist. He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who is Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery.
Dr. Domby has special interests in knee and shoulder injuries and is one of the only surgeons in the Tampa Bay area specializing in cartilage repair. As an FDA approved MACI procedure specialist, Dr. Domby uses this technique to regrow and repair damaged cartilage in the knee.
He currently is a team physician for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay Lightning and has previously worked as a team physician for the University of Colorado Buffalos and the University of Denver Pioneers. Dr. Domby has extensive experience in working with teams and athletes of all ages. His time in Boulder and Denver, Colorado also has given him special expertise in working with runners, cyclist, and triathletes. Dr. Domby looks forward to keeping you active and healthy.
