About Demirela Teljigovic, APRN, MSN, FNP-C
Demirela (Demi) Teljigovic is of Bosnian descent and was raised in the Tampa Bay area. She was a first-generation college graduate from the University of South Florida with her Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Nursing. She continued her graduate studies at the University of South Florida to become a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital in high risk obstetrics caring for women experiencing pregnancy or postpartum complications in addition to providing newborn care. She is passionate about women’s health and is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare to all ages.
Her FNP training focused on primary care, cardiology, integrative medicine, pediatric neurology, and transitional care.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with loved ones, reading, and weight training.
