About John Deveikis, MD

Dr. John Deveikis is a board-certified interventional neuroradiologist. He specializes in minimally invasive and endovascular treatments for disorders of the brain, spine, spinal cord, face, neck, and peripheral nerves. This expertise allows him to address a variety of common neurological conditions, including strokes, aneurysms, and vascular malformations.

With 30 years of experience in teaching interventional neuroradiology, Dr. Deveikis has held academic positions at several universities, most recently at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Rochester in New York. His research interests focus on enhancing the safety and effectiveness of neuro-interventional techniques. He has lectured internationally and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he is a co-author of the “Handbook of Cerebrovascular Disease and Neurointerventional Technique,” a widely used resource in his field.

Dr. Deveikis earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed a bachelor’s degree in science from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. He completed his residency in radiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, where he served as chief resident. His fellowships in neuroradiology were completed at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Certified by the American Board of Radiology with additional qualifications in neuroradiology, Dr. Deveikis is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
