Dr. Cody graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL in 1995 with Bachelor of Science in Biology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at USF’s Morsani College of Medicine in 1999 and then completed six years of post graduate training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Cody served as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine in 1998. After completing his fellowship training, he spent two years acquiring further advanced endoscopic skills and serving as a staff gastroenterologist for Tufts University in Medford, MA. He then relocated back to Florida and has been practicing in Tampa Bay for over 17 years.
Dr. Cody’s special interests include advanced endoscopy, diseases of the pancreas and biliary tree, and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr. Cody was born in raised in New England, but has been calling Florida home since 1993. He enjoys the outdoors, whether hiking, camping or fishing. He loves spending time with his daughters, and his grand-daughter. When not working on his house, he is an avid reader, and an amateur musician.
