Dr. Shahid earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She then completed both a traditional rotating internship and internal medicine residency program at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus in Hialeah, FL.
Dr. Shahid is fellowship trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and she is a member of The Endocrine Society, The American Thyroid Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.
