About Randa Elmallah, MD

Dr. Elmallah is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in shoulder and elbow care. She completed her orthopedic residency at the University of Mississippi Medical center, the only level one trauma center in the state, which provided her with extensive high volume training.

Dr. Elmallah has over 10 years of experience and was fellowship trained at Harvard University’s Boston Shoulder Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital. She is also a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Society, the Codman Shoulder Society and the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society, which promotes the development of women in orthopedics.

Dr. Elmallah’s philosophy is that the patient comes first and care should be driven by what is best for that patient. She provides innovative and evidence based musculoskeletal care, and her highly subspecialized training allows for the management of even the most complex of needs.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Elmallah enjoys reading, traveling, running, rowing and swimming. She is fluent in English and Arabic.
