Dr. Randhir Jesudoss is a board-certified hepatologist, specializing in diseases and conditions of the gastrointestinal tract, advanced endoscopic procedures, and hepatology, with a focus on liver health. He is skilled in endoscopy and colonoscopy, venous and arterial catheterization, abdominal paracentesis, thoracentesis, and liver biopsy.
Dr. Jesudoss received his medical education from Madurai Medical College in Madurai, India. Upon relocating to the United States, he completed a residency in internal medicine at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in transplant hepatology at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Throughout his career, Dr. Jesudoss has also been involved in teaching, having worked in the Department of Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Hepatology at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where he guided residents and fellows in his GI and liver clinic. Additionally, he served as the Medical Liver Transplant Director at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City. Dr. Jesudoss has contributed to medical literature, writing several chapters for textbooks and publishing numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
He is an active member of professional organizations such as the American College of Gastroenterology and the American College of Physicians and has international experience, maintaining memberships in the Emirates Gastro Society in the United Arab Emirates and the Indian Society of Gastroenterology.
