About Rene Santoscoy, MD
Rene Santoscoy, MD is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and his Doctor of Medicine at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico.
Dr. Santoscoy completed a Fifth Pathway Program and Residency in Family Medicine through New York Medical College at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, where he also served as Chief Resident. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Santoscoy is fluent in Spanish and his clinical interests include out-patient, preventive care and urgent care medicine. Dr. Santoscoy was born in San Antonio, TX and has been in the area since 2007. He enjoys fishing, running, sports such as football and NBA Basketball.
