To determine the best approach to treatment, our surgical oncologists work hand-in-hand with the other medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and specialty physicians. By utilizing our extensive network of specialty providers, this allows us to not only decide which procedures to recommend but also when and how surgical treatment is best incorporated into your plan. Oftentimes, surgery is paired with one or more other treatments, such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and our collaborative approach allows us to make evidence-based recommendations for multidisciplinary care.
