Pregnancy Care

Planning for the future.

When it comes to pregnancy care, every woman has her own unique needs and preferences. Some prefer working with a midwife, while others feel more comfortable with an obstetrician. Some women may choose to deliver in a birthing center with as few interventions as possible, while others prefer a hospital delivery and access to specialty services.

At Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health, we understand that each patient’s choices are as unique as she is, and we support our patients’ rights to be actively involved in their own pregnancy care.

In our unique practice, our obstetricians and midwives work together under the same roof, which allows our patients to receive the best of both worlds. Our ultimate goal is to keep a mother and her baby healthy. Should the need arise, Dr. Patel delivers at the Florida Hospital Tampa Women’s Center, one of the area’s only level 3 neonatal intensive care units.
